I take A LOT of pride in what I do. There is often times when I finish coaching a class and think to myself 'I could have been better here'.

Every person is different, and different people require different techniques. Becoming a great coach requires you to be able to tap into each individual and quickly make a decision on where to go.

I love coaching because there is always ways to improve. I will never get to a point where I will say to myself 'I have learned all that I need.' I am constantly trying to seek out new cues and techniques to help athletes become the best version of themselves.

Krista Norrish

My love for fitness initially started from experiencing back pain working a desk job and having scoliosis. I went to the gym to strengthen my body and I was no longer in pain. Fitness is such an important part of my lifestyle mentally and physically. I love being around a community of people that truly just wants the best for each other.

I received my CrossFit Level 1 in 2020. I look forward to helping you achieve your fitness goals!

Melanie Schihl

I am a caring and compassionate trainer who leads by example and practices what I preach. I will assist you with goal setting, challenges, nutritional counselling and will guide you throughout your wellness journey. From beginners to veteran gym goers, I will motivate and encourage you while providing safe and effective workouts. I have a strong passion for what I do. I will be 100% committed to you during our workouts and be available to support you outside of our scheduled training times. My clients become part of my fitness family and I love watching them grow into their best and healthiest self. I am a mother of 2 and appreciate the challenges women face with weight management and body image. I am a functional trainer and will make your body move and work with good form and positive results. MISSION: To guide people in their wellness journey and become a catalyst for positive changes in their lives.

I was introduced to CrossFit in 2009, and it has shaped my training and fitness philosophy ever since. I'm passionate about helping people improve their lives and thrilled to be a part of the LearnFit team! Investing time and effort into your physical and mental health and fitness now is the best guard against the effects of aging. Neither your age nor your current level of fitness matter; the only thing that matters is you do something better today than you did yesterday. I look forward to working with each and every one of you athletes!

Farley Ring

Farley is a passionate fitness coach and motivator who believes strength goes far beyond the physical. For her, fitness is about building confidence, resilience, and balance in everyday life.

Although she has always been active, Farley took her commitment to the next level by becoming certified with SPI and stepping into coaching. Since then, she has created a training environment that is both high energy and empowering, where clients are challenged, supported, and encouraged every step of the way.

In her classes, you can expect dynamic workouts that push you while still being fun and approachable. Farley brings a sharp sense of humour, real authenticity, and plenty of encouragement to every session. Her goal is to make every workout feel less like a chore and more like a space where you feel strong, capable, and part of a community.

Outside of the gym, Farley is a proud mom to her two boys, Cooper and Max, who inspire her daily to lead by example. She also balances a professional career working with Bruce Power and The Berkshire, demonstrating that with dedication and passion, it is possible to thrive in family life, career, and fitness all at once.

Leigh Roberts

Leigh is a Sport Performance Institute certified coach with a passion for helping people build strength, confidence, and enjoyment through movement.

With experience coaching since 2015, Leigh brings years of knowledge and a deep understanding of functional fitness and group training. His athletic roots began on the basketball court, where he developed a strong foundation in movement, discipline, and performance that continues to influence his coaching style today.

After stepping away from sports in his 20s and 30s, Leigh rediscovered his love for fitness through group training and hasn’t looked back. That journey allows him to connect with clients at all stages, whether they are getting back into fitness or pushing toward new performance goals.

Leigh’s classes are known for being both effective and enjoyable, creating an environment where people feel supported, challenged, and motivated. His approach focuses on helping individuals of all backgrounds build strength, confidence, and a genuine sense of accomplishment in their workouts.

At Learnfit, Leigh leads Reps on Fridays and is a valued part of the coaching team, always stepping up to support the community and fellow members.

Stacey Clark

Stacey is a CanFit Pro certified personal trainer and nutrition coach with a passion for helping others build strength, confidence, and sustainable healthy habits.

With years of experience in the fitness industry and a background in fitness competitions, Stacey brings both athletic insight and professional expertise to every session. Her coaching style is results driven yet supportive, focused on helping clients feel strong, capable, and confident in their own skin.

Stacey has a strong passion for Hyrox-style training and functional fitness, creating workouts that are challenging, dynamic, and effective. Whether you are new to training or looking to elevate your performance, she meets you where you are and pushes you toward your next level.

At Learnfit, Stacey leads Muscle Mix classes and Studio Hyrox Bootcamp, while also working one on one with personal training clients. Her approach combines strength training, conditioning, and practical nutrition guidance to create lasting results.

Outside of the gym, Stacey is a professional hairdresser, channeling her creativity into helping others look and feel their best. She embodies a balanced lifestyle where strength, style, and self care all work together.

Tanya ryan

Tanya is a dedicated and experienced coach who brings warmth, encouragement, and a true passion for fitness to every class she leads.

Fitness has always been a central part of Tanya’s life. From competing as a AAA fastball pitcher to coaching her son’s National Championship fastball team, she has a strong athletic foundation rooted in discipline, teamwork, and performance. She further expanded her expertise by earning her Personal Trainer Certification through the Sports Performance Institute in 2014.

Over the years, Tanya has been involved in a wide variety of training programs and continues to challenge herself both physically and mentally. She believes in leading by example and embraces the personal growth that comes through consistent effort and commitment.

Tanya’s coaching style is welcoming, supportive, and community driven. She is passionate about creating an environment where members feel comfortable, encouraged, and motivated to reach their goals. Building meaningful connections and helping clients succeed is what drives her every day.

Britni is a Certified Personal Trainer through the Sport Performance Institute with a strong background in bodybuilding and over 10 years of personal training experience.

Her passion for fitness is rooted in helping others move better, feel stronger, and build a healthy, active lifestyle. Britni believes workouts should be both effective and enjoyable, which is exactly what you can expect in her classes.

At Learnfit, Britni leads Cardio Muscle Smash, a dynamic blend of strength and conditioning designed to challenge your body while keeping things fun and engaging. Her approach focuses on functional movement, building strength, and improving overall fitness without the monotony of traditional cardio.

His athletic background and commitment to pushing his own limits fuel the way he coaches others, helping clients build strength, resilience, and mental toughness.

Jim has been a valued part of the Learnfit community for years, known for his consistency, work ethic, and willingness to step up and support others. Whether he is training or coaching, he sets the standard through action and attitude.

Shelby DeVries

Shelby is a passionate and dedicated coach who brings energy, consistency, and a strong sense of community to everything she does at Learnfit.

Having been an active member of the Learnfit community for years, Shelby naturally stepped into a coaching role, leading by example through her work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to growth. She understands firsthand what it takes to show up, stay consistent, and push through challenges, making her highly relatable to clients at all stages of their fitness journey.

Shelby’s approach to coaching is supportive, motivating, and empowering. She creates an environment where members feel welcomed, encouraged, and confident in their abilities, while still being challenged to reach their next level.

With a strong foundation in strength and conditioning, Shelby focuses on proper movement, building strength, and helping clients develop both physical and mental resilience. She believes that fitness is not just about performance, but about feeling strong, capable, and confident in everyday life.

Hunter Robins-Gibbons

Hunter grew up playing competitive hockey while also participating in a variety of other sports. He discovered CrossFit in 2017 and was immediately hooked. What began as a way to supplement his hockey training quickly evolved into his primary competitive outlet.

His fitness accomplishments include competing at the CrossFit Team Semifinals in 2022 and 2025, participating in the RX Men’s division at Wodapalooza, and qualifying for the 2026 Individual Semifinals at the NorCal Classic.

Hunter earned his CrossFit Level 1 certification in 2018 and is passionate about being part of the Learnfit community. He enjoys working with athletes of all levels, from beginners to experienced competitors, and takes pride in helping others grow their confidence and performance.

You can find Hunter on the gym floor, ready to support, motivate, and push you to be your best.
